Costco Tire Service Center

I had a negative experience in cancellation of the tire service. I came in time but it turned out that I had a missed call 30 min before the time where they wanted to cancel me saying that I’ll need to wait for 3 hours. I was with 2 kids and could not take a phone call during the trip.

A++++ Tire purchasing experience! Made my appt for 9am on a Saturday and done in 1 hour 15 min. I saved about $400 between Costco and leading competitor. That well over pays for an Executive membership! They saw that someone had stolen a lug nut and replaced it. They are knowledgeable, professional, and caring. Thank you, John and the Costco Spartanburg Tire Service Team! There is no need to ever go elsewhere!

July 8,2025. Bad. UN-real setup at the Costco Tire Department. Tires and extras are cheaper at Costco but the service is just awful. Tire service after purchase is awful. Make a 10:56 AM appointment. Arrive on time but find 3-4-5 people in line ahead of you looking to buy tires. One employee working. You wait, wait on your turn and after 31 minutes it is your turn. You get checked in and you are handed a cone to put on your car. Yes,you go back outside and put the cone on. Then you wait to be called so we go shopping(Costco planned this). Yesterday we waited 1 hour and 41 minutes. We had frozen items. Anyway we got the call our car was ready so I go back to the counter and find 3 people in line ahead of me. So I wait, wait and waited again. After 23 minutes I get my car keys. Started home and my car vibrated. Had frozen goods that needed to be in a freezer so we called Costco as we were driving home. We were put on hold for 16 minutes. Explained the situation and were told to bring it back. Yep,I again was in line behind 4 people so I had to wait, wait and waited again. 51 minutes later I got the call my car was ready . I asked what was wrong and the tech said a tir

Too busy to give you the service you get from local tire stores. Haven't been satisfied with the customer service, the wait times, and the lack of communication. Within one week, my tire pressure was low, and the warning light came on one evening as I was on my way home. Couldn't get an appointment until 4 pm the next day, and had to drive in the rain on low pressure to get there. They were unwilling to move a schedule around and were extremely rude when I called. Buy Local - Go to NIX - I regret my choice.

Even with an appointment my tires weren’t done until 2 hours later. The tire center staff were also rude and condescending. I would go somewhere else for a more efficient service. Edit: I’d like to mention that because this is Costco, your tires will have a warranty for one year. If you ever need your tires checked or patched up they’ll do it for free. I still had to wait awhile even with an appointment.
